Welcome to the Gravesend RFC Home Page. This is the 'official' home site for Gravesend Rugby Club and has been written to provide information about the sporting and social activities that the club has to offer.

Founded in 1880, the Rugby Club has been sited on various grounds before finally being located at Rectory Field which it took over in 1979 ready for the 1980/81 season. The site was then host to the Imperial Sports Club which included cricket, bowls, tennis, table tennis and pigeon racing. These were all incorporated and are still part of the Club today.

As a consequence the club now enjoys a strong, diverse, sporting pedigree including Rugby Football, Cricket, Hockey, Tennis, Lawn Bowling and Petanque. Our function halls also cater for active Judo and Table Tennis sections.
