Chris Wilkins has advised the Club that after 4 years he will be stepping down from Head Coach at the end of the season.

Chris’ commitments e.g, Whitgift School/England Counties and the fact that he can’t commit as much time in the future,  have led to his decision. Chris/Peter Barber/Mark Bruce, feel that it would be in the interests of all concerned if we now commenced the search for a replacement.  Chris’ decision to advise us now will enable us to do this in a managed and orderly fashion, ensuring that not only the individual but the structure is right for the Club.  In the meantime,  we have two excellent coaches in Bucko and Robbo and we will be gradually handing over more and more responsibilities to as the season develops, so that we can give them further responsibility and help them and the club be prepared for next season . In the meantime Chris/ Bucko and Robbo are all totally committed to trying to push up the table and push on for the rest of this season. We will advise you further this side of Christmas on the formal process we wish to follow for appointing a replacement.  Looking further forward Chris has indicated his willingness help in an advisory/coaching capacity, when time permits and I am sure we will find a use for his particular skillset.  Any queries please direct them to Peter Barber or Mark Bruce.
