GRFC Pigeon Section
The Pigeon Section is affiliated to the Royal Pigeon Racing Association and are vibrant members of GRFC, holding meetings at the Club every Friday & Saturday though the racing season April to October.
New members are always welcome at these meetings which start at 6.00pm.
Pigeon racing is a sport for the whole family, combining animal husbandry with the natural desire for competition. GRFC Pigeon Section is involved in this race scene, providing space at the Club for basketing and race rubber ringing of birds before they are transported to the race release points.
Membership of the Section is currently £60 and race transport charge of 55p per bird.
