Gravesend RFC achieved another first late last year when ex mini & youth section player Sarah “Sorry” Jones made her debut at blind side flanker for Premiership side Darlington Mowden Park Rugby Club. Sorry is a regular in the team and last weekend was playing Richmond
Her first game didn’t quite go Sorry’s way with a 3 -30 defeat but to a certain degree the score is irrelevant. As Bugs (the proud father) put it, “Very very proud!!”
Congratulations to Sorry – a huge achievement through her own commitment, hard work and dedication.
