On Saturday 3rd March 2012, GRFC holds its annual Sponsors' Lunch at which it hosts local businesses and individuals to formally thank them for their generosity & support in taking advertising on kit, on pitchside hoardings and in programmes. The funding generated provides much of the resource needed to support our teams in terms of kit, coaching, physios and other necessities.
The Lunch is 12:30 for 1:00 pm and after our guests & members are invited to watch the 1st XV game against Civil Service Rugby 1863 and enjoy the facilities of the Club.
Members are encouraged to attend the lunch. Tickets for an excellent 3 course lunch which includes wine are £20. Catering is by the Club's Catering Manager, Neil Johnson. Those who have enjoyed his skills at the GRFC Lunch Club, regularly held before 1st XV matches, will know that this year's Sponsors' Lunch is one not to be missed!
