Opposition slammed as GRFC take the National Slam Cups

5 games, 5 wins, 298 points scored, 50 conceded and the team are bringing two cups back to the clubhouse!

Gravesend Dynamite certainly won the National Slam league in style going undefeated throughout the Easter weekend competition. Last year Glasgow Panthers had qualified for he Slam - there were no teams from the Scottish capital in Slam 2016 but there were teams from all over: Gravesend beating teams from Yorkshire, the midlands, the south, Wales plus Slam debutants Dartford Valley Vipers.
This set up a play off final for the second trophy versus Queensferry Deeside hosts Crusaders and the Dynamite won that too to ensure they remain as Slam Champions.
Dartford Valley Vipers linked to Gravesend should also be very proud of themselves as they shocked with a 26-0 win versus Keighley Cougars and though they will be disappointed with a 10-4 defeat to Hereford Harriers, the Vipers showed that they have so much potential.

Massive well done to the whole Gravesend squad.
