Sad news for those of you that remember Morris, he had a good 20 years living in St Keverne but passed away a month ago from bladder cancer.

This message was received from Andy Munden who played at Gravesend in the mid 1960's.
"I arrived in Gravesend in 1965 along with Morris Thomas (second from left back row) to teach at Northfleet Boys School. I stayed for 3 years and Morris stayed for +30 years before retiring to Cornwall through ill health". He went on to say "I know that he held several positions within the club and had a lot of friends up there but he became a bit of a recluse so am not sure how good he was at keeping in contact. I had some good times too including breaking my leg and playing for Kent. I came back to Bristol and played for them for 8 years including the KO cup final at Twickenham in 1973 v Coventry. If anyone remembers me there please give them my best.
