Perhaps one of the most exciting games of the season so far saw a close match, especially in the early stages of the game.
George Bowler again made a name for himself with six scores showing great pace and a cutting edge down the wing. New boys Charles Murray and Tony Ansell both capped off good debut perfomances with a try each whilst Joe McCarthy linked his good ball skills from last week with a more forward driving approach in the chair to invade the opposition territory well. His nephew Tom always displays a very good all round ability and though Tom did not touch down a try today he assisted many, offering well times passes to team mates in space.
Liam Hammock made some good tackles in the 2nd half of the match whilst new player Cormack Maloney gained confidence as each minute went by.
Rate of improvement was well evidenced by Ryan Wigmore who showed fantastic progress since last week scoring a try twice and making one for his debutant friend Lewis.
With the junior players also playing so well (see other match report), the overall rate of progress from all club members is very pleasing.
