Tom McCarthy made some superb defence splitting and well times passes today to team mates taking the ball on the move and therefore moving forward well in to opposition territory. Tackling was harder and with more impact than any other week with new signing Seb Groves, Sue Fletcher and eventual player of the match Henry Bowler (for his all round defence and attack play) hitting tough in the tackle.
Ben Ide scored a wonderful early try after good work from Cormac down the left. George Bowler who shows excellent potential (along with our speed merchant Ben Hope) ran in another 2 pacey try's whilst Joe McCarthy who last week showed superb ball handling skills but needed to target more forward speed in the chair kept those 'good hands' whilst developing a real forward drive in the chair - great improvement - in fact, if it were not for the tackling tagging of his own daughter Milly who continues to be a predator when it comes to tackling, he'd have run in a try or 2.
Two really good matches tonight (please see other match report from the other game)
