Moorey Manages a Try on his Debut!

GRFC Gravesend Dynamite need more Under 18 players (under 13 to under 18) for a South England Youth competition in June and after an article on pitchero we were pleased that 2 new youth players (Nirees and Ben S) came in to the squad plus we were just as pleased that the experienced Jeff Morrey, well known at the club for all his efforts with the 1st XV also came down & enjoyed an excellent debut.

In fact, Ben S managed a conversion success whilst Nirees and Jeff Moorey both touched down a try score each.

It was a busy session with the inter club league (see updated wheelchair league table) kicking off: the Ocelots captained by George B and the Tigers captained by Ben Ide played out a tense high quality but scoreless draw (Sue Fletcher, Matthew A, Ruth and Henry B impressing) whilst the Leopards captained by Liam Hammock were beaten by Tom McCarthy's Lions 10-0 with a self converted try from Tom and a further try from Tim Atkinson.

During the pre and post league training matches Max O (4), George B (3) and Tom Mc (3) all notched up further try scores to add to their ever growing try tally on our club statistics table whilst Joe Mc and Liam Hammock both need a mention for 2 superb assists during the game.
