It's a Slade Raid! 3 tries for Ben......

Our extra set of shirts kindly supplied by Jeff Moorey and with tags added by Anna Scarr designs were brought out for our 4.30pm session and the tags held firm.
Some superb tagging again from William A following on from his Folkestone match. Jack, Ruth, Charles and new signing Tom P all played very well - Tom P even managing 2 tries on his debut. England international Ben Ide added 3 tries to his growing account and Max O, top try scorer for the Dynamite so far this season added a try of his own but it was Ben S who stole the show with 3 outstanding tries and some superb all round play.

In a very busy and crowded 5.30pm session, Tom Mc capped off a great perfomance with a try late on; Cormac again showed great progress adding a try and again proving that he'll be missed for our next league match on May 18th as will Ben H who's also not available and did well tonight. Patrick M continues to stake a claim for a place in the May 18th team with another good performance. Sue and Liam both recovered from tough tackles to get back in their chairs and play on well whilst Joe and Millie both demonstrated good wing play being in the right place at the right time (though they might want to look at taking up a more central position on the pitch occasionally and use their growing speed to burst through tackles within this central position).

New signings Michael, Dan and Kenneth all made rapid progress during the session - Dan even managing a good individual try.

Though Henry was overshadowed by his brother George in the try count this evening (George scoring 3 tries), both boys played with great pace and skill and will be great additions to our under 18 squad for May 18th.

30th April sessions (4.30pm then 5.30pm) as normal

4th May wheelchair taster session (weather permitting) as part of GRFC fun day

7th May Just Under 18's playing both sessions (others welcome to watch)

14th May Just Over 14's playing both sessions (others welcome to watch)

18th May Fixtures v Medway & Folkestone - 6 U18 to be selected

21st May sessions as normal followed by 7pm till 8pm celebration evening at GRFC clubhouse
