Dragons fire blown out by Dynamite!

Captain Tom McCarthy led his Dynamite 5 to a sensational win in Medway against the experienced Dragons team; GRFC scoring 7 tries ........ and just as importantly some outstanding and determined defending kept out the Dragons for the whole of the game.

It is quite an achievement to go the whole of the match in wheelchair rugby league without conceding a try so a massive well done to Tom, Max O, Ben Slade, Nirees and Michael Grant.

Grant, playing on the righy wing showed his potential as a great finisher with 5 tries; Ben Slade who was superb throughout the game added the other 2 tries. Tom added 3 conversions (not his usual high percentage of success with conversions - today he got 3 out of 7 - but most were right on the side lines of the pitch) and kicked well out of hand.
The most impressive part of the game today was the teamwork in attack and the speed of passing between Ben, Nirees, Michael, Tom and Max who combined so well to keep the pressure on Medway throughout the match.

An excellent performance and great 34-0 victory.
