Rugby players are sometimes describled as egg catchers - well the eggs were definitelty golden today as Dynamite ran riot with 12 tries against an improving Spitfires team.
The classy Gravesend squad who are continuing to develop themselves showed real ability and noteable speed with Tom Mccarthy, Cormac, Jack (3), Ben Slade (brilliant throughout with 4 tries), Nirees (who was our top tackler today but also managed 2 tries) and Michael Grant all getting tries. Tom McCarthy added 4 conversions (4 out of 6; others missing their conversions whilst Tom was being rested in the 2nd half).
Cormac's try proved how far he has come as a player as he went 'Martin Offiah-esque' the length of the pitch to touch down. Jack's first try was the try of the day as he combined well with Tom & Cormac, then avoided several tackles before showing speed and intelligence changing direction to run in between the posts.
However, it was another outstanding team performance with all of the above plus Millie, Evan (who was particularly good down the left wing) and Max O all adding to the high quality game.
