After the first team squad came away with a 48-0 victory against Hereford Harriers in Rugby Warwickshire, the pressure was on the remainder of the squad that travelled to keep the Dynamite rolling and they didn't disappoint.
Dynamite came away with another victory - this time 40-0 but the first half display was rampant with Dynamite scoring 7 tries in the opening period. Again Gravesend went the whole game without conceding, adding three more tries in the second half as Hereford reverted to 100% defence to try to keep the try count down.
Captain Ken Maloney deservedly got himself a try but the way he and Nevil Hope linked play in the centre of the field allowing the pace of Richard Carver, Cormac Maloney, Euan Huckle and Ben Hope to keep attacking spaces in Hereford's defence worked well tactically. The versatile Dan Edwards added additional pace and variation in attacking lines to keep the Harriers guessing.
Huckle scored 3 tries on his debut and showed real talent. Ben Hope, man of the match, displayed enormous effort to sustain pressure (getting two tries in the process, one of which he went around the whole Herford team) and Cormac Maloney bagged 4 tries staking a claim for the first team.
A fantastic performance demonstrating real potential and a strong squad.
