Gravesend's sassy display in SAS county

Gravesend Dynamite came away from the home of the SAS with a comfortable 76-6 win. Hereford who had just side stepped to second in the league after beating Dartford 54-38 in an impressive display came in to the match full of confidence but Gravesend continued their march towards the league title with one of the best ever efforts.

The game was tight over the first fifteen minutes wi no score and both teams defending well. However, Gravesend persisted and eventually broke through on 18 minutes with Linden scoring in the corner after Dynamite swung the ball from left to right at pace through the team.
Gravesend settled and went in at half time 20-0 up.

Hereford came out early for the second half looking to get some points on the board in front of their huge home crowd but Gravesend began a frenzied attack on the Harriers try line and within 10 minutes Gravesend led 48-0. Gravesend continued to dominate - Hereford did get a deserved try for their efforts but Gravesend completed the game 76-6 as victors.

Linden had a tremendous game on the wing - this coupled with the frightening pace of Hazel on the opposing wing gives Gravesend additional outlets. McKee deservedly got Man of the Match and Tony Wyles playing his first game of the season was awesome, adding to the team immensely and getting assist after assist.

Tries for Linden 5, Hazel 4, Owen 4 and McKee 2 with 8 conversions.
