Gs U14s played their socks off, but tired legs left them short of silverware at the end of a brilliant day of rugby

From our original squad of 20, missing Josh Smyth, Sam Arnott and Espen Laurie (all DofE) and an early injury to Ned Warren, left us with a bare 16 players, facing the tall order of 1hr 50mins of rugby against fresh legs in the Semis and Final......and it all proved a little too much in the end.

The boys all played their socks off and the Semi Final against Old Colfeians, saw a sprited and gutsy comeback from the brink of elimination, but TJs are a quality side and wishing to take nothing away from their performance, our tiredness told in the final 20' as there was nothing left in the tanks of our physically drained players to stop their onslaught and eventual victory.
