First test win for the England team down under, after early tries from the Aussies for a 10-0 lead.

What another great turn out at the club on Saturday when around seventy plus members rolled in for a bacon butty and sausage baps and a couple of liquid refreshments.
Not to disappoint, the England team on the park kept everyone interested as outstanding performances from James Haskell and Maro Otoji were accompanied by tries from Marland Yarde,,Jack Nowell and Jonathan Joseph.
The ever accomplished Owen Farrell converted all three and added six penalties to punish the transgressions of the home XV

Where next?

Australia v England on the big screen International season once again come alive at the club this Saturday, when Australia take on the England tourists.
Another sad loss of a member Leah Buckingham called to inform the club of the sad death of long time member and friend, John Godden. His son's words are below.
