George was taken into hospital just before Easter suffering from several ailments common to someone of his age. The doctors have treated what they can but there are limits as to what they can do for a soon to be 89 year old, and he is now in the McCawber wing of Wombwell Hall Nursing Home.
One of the downsides of living to a good age is that you don't have so many of your contemporaries around at times like these but George would like the Club to know his situation and would appreciate it if you could pass the word around, particularly among the longer standing members that know George.
