Anchorians were playing just their 4th fixture but have picked up some really strong runners and big players who up until today had been used to running through teams. However they came up against a smaller but committed Gravesend mixed team who had started to show new levels of determination in recent weeks. They withheld an early Anchorians barrage with low tackles from the start and put the opposition down early, and when they had the ball they ran with purpose with forwards linking with backs and running from depth and there was a shape starting to develop in defence with a wall of black and white jerseys spread across the pitch. This confidence in attack led to some real quality tries for Ben Hope, Rajan Poonian, Owen Webster, Alfie Howden, Thanusian, Finlay, Patrick Murray and Ben Cooper just showed how the ball was being moved around throughout the team. Ben Hope and Charles Martin also demonstrating good kicking skills to add conversions in windy conditions
