G'sss Hang in for a good win

The coaching team made the decision for this fixture to put out 2 mixed ability teams against Sittingbourne and this resulted in a very competitive game. Gravesend had the bulk of possession but did not take the opportunities so that Sittingbourne were always in the match. Thanks to Henry Bowler and Thanusian who both played a half for Sittingbourne so that both teams could field a front row. Everyone did their bit and some good phases of play led to two good scores, Billy Webster going over following a great pass from Freddie Barrett and Henry Martin offloading well to give Owen Webster the opportunity to go over for the winner. Its great to see the standards increasing across the squad and we are now getting close to being able to field two teams which will be a great place to be.
