Having played Park house the boys knew they would be up against some good runners and players from a quickly developing Park House team. A slow start led to one of their main players running through several tackles to score under the posts. Gravesend were under further pressure until Patrick Murray gathered just in front of his own tryline to make an excellent well run into the Park House half before offloading to Aaron Nash who finished well for his first try in a Gravesend shirt with Ben Stellfox converting. Park House scored again, and despite some quality phases of play from Gravesend Park house held out with some great tackling apart from one shoulder barge which stopped a try but injured the Gravesend player. The referee quite rightly sin binned the player. That gave Gravesend an extra opening in the 2nd half which they took full advantage of, tries followed for Ben Hope 2, Cameron, and Sam Hiskett with a great direct line taken from Dane to crash over as well from a smooth offload from fly half Charles Martin. Assists were from sterling support work from Ben Cooper, Freddie, Henry Martin and a great solo run from Sam Hiskett which led to Ben hopes 2nd. Windy conditions made kicking difficult with Ben Hope adding one conversion. A late lapse in tackling allowed Park House to come back with two converted tries of their own from two great solo runs, which led to a nervy last few minutes, although resolute defence and some great close quarter defensive work from Ben Cooper made sure that Gravesend went away with the win.
