A strong performance at the Medway Festival

For those not there Sunday we did well coming third in our pool of six teams, and lost just the 2 games 1-0 to both Medway who to be fair deserved to win as they contested the breakdown better and Sevenoaks who I felt we should have beaten if we had been a bit more clinical in possession. Other results were convincing wins over Bromley (5-0), Sheppey (4-0) and Maidstone (2-1).

We then won the play off with our first ever victory over Blackheath (1-0 with a golden try as 0-0 at full time) which was a well deserved result to win the Shield Final.

All involved on the day should be proud of their efforts as we for the most part played some of our best ever rugby with some great team try's combined with some individual efforts.
