Son scores as sun comes out

A great training session today led by Gary Myers, Lee Barnes and Tony Ansell with lots of parents supporting with tackle bags; and remarkably all managing to stay on 2 feet in the sliding mud under immense pressure and pushing power from the youngsters. Thomas H, Josh H and Josh B all focused particularly well during the initial training activities.

The games at the end showed some fast running and good development of ball being passed through hands. Three excellent tries for Fin MM, Max O and Toby were impressive in that they were finished off individually but followed great whole team build up play where every one in that team contributed. William A looked good in the line out, Josh B managed 2 great tackles on some powerful runners with the ball: Arron and Fin CS respectively whilst stand out player for me was Harry W for supporting his team mates well, passing at the right time, burgling opposition ball and improving with his line out hooker throws.
