Today Gravesend under 10's went up another level and EVERYONE gave 100% as the players won and displayed some great rugby as one unit; no single player stood out and played superbly - they all did! Moreover many players continue to improve with Harvey, Josh H, Max M and Thomas developing well.

With a squad of nearly 30, of which 25 were here today, we split in to 3 teams: the Eagles, the Falcons and a barbarian team made up of mainly GRFC with a few Vigo / NAG players.

Eagles: Max O (c), William A, Josh S, Aaron, Ben, Lewis, Harvey, Fin MM and Toby.
Falcons: Matthew (c), Molly, Josh B, Josh H, Thomas, Max M, Marcus, Fin CS and Harry.
Barbarians: Rory (c), Riley, Nick, Jack, Oscar, William, Andreas

The Barbarians battled well and improved as each game went linking up well with the Vigo NAG players. Rory stepped up to the captaincy role well and got stuck in.
The Falcons beat Sittingbourne 15-10 (3 tries to 2) in a close match; Marcus running with the ball well and always looking to pass to supporting players whilst Molly made one noticeable break through with an outstanding off load. Fin CS and Harry demanded ball and made good ground.
The Eagles beat Sittingbourne 20-0 (4 tries to 0)playing some excellent team rugby winning scrum after scrum: Ben, Lewis, Aaron, Fin MM and Josh S scoring some good tries throughout the day with William A, Max O and Toby continually disrupting the opposition with tackle after tackle. Target next game would be to win more line outs. However, a superb performance by the Eagles which summed up the whole appetite of all of the GRFC under 10's teams today in their relentless pursuit of winning the ball back and driving forward.
