No standing about for Gss in Sittingbourne

Gravesend Under 11's played as one unit in defence and attack in Sittingbourne and came away with a deserved win. Though the final score of 9 tries to 2 (3-1, 4-1 and 2-0 wins) flattered the visitors in some way as Sittingbourne had some very good players who tackled well and ran at pace, Gss work ethic and determined / improving play definitely got the better of the home side overall.

Tries for J Barnes (4), F Myers, J Saunders, J Harris, A Carver and H Woodbine showed both individual and full squad brilliance but just as pleasing was the amount of tackles on the try line that G's forwards and backs made under continued Sittingbourne pressure towards the end of each half resulting in no tries conceded during those times.
