Sevenoaks Score Seven

On Sunday, Sevenoaks visited us at Gravesend, the weather was fine but very cold. We started by doing some warm ups for example rucking, running in a straight line with the ball and running as a team.

For the games, I was on a team coached by Tony and Bruce. The other players on my team were Josh, Ben R, Edward, James, George, Tommy, Dominic, Rhys and Ben T. We then played our first match and I have to say Sevenoaks were a good team, they were good because they were more organised, tackled well and their passing was great. Ultimately we lost 8-0.

After that we played our second match and sadly we were not able to do much better, we missed a few tackles but played well but we lost 7-1 with James scoring the try for our team. It was a great run, evading tackles and he got through their defence at last!

We were disappointed as a team with the results and can see that we need to work hard to play at Sevenoaks level, that's what training is for!
